 These
FMS keypads
measure 157 x 225 mm, and include a green filter over the viewable area
(Five-inch green phosphor video monitor available separately.)
The keys
are gloss black, raised, and each key has an accurate tactile "click"
when pressed. The 14 x 8 keyboard matrix is compatible with the EPIC
card, and a 5V circuit backlights the entire keypad. Each letter glows
in the dark. A separate switch is included for dimming the keys, and
for operating the EXEC key LED.
 All
connections to the keypad are standard
flat ribbon cable connectors.
We can
mount a keyboard encoder and pre-program it
with Project Magenta's keyboard commands as well, if you desire.
The FMS/MCDU
unit comes ready for mounting in your cockpit, with a peel-off backing
to help in placement. You wire it according to your own cockpit arrangement.

keypads to match either the standard FMC system or the Pegasus FMC system.
