Boeing 737-NG
 This
Boeing 737-NG CDU keypad matches the new colour display 'Next Generation'
version, and measures
157 x 225 mm. This unit has a clear display area. It is also
available in the 'Standard' configuration, with a green screen area
for use with a monochrome monitor (available separately).
Great attention
has been paid to the tactile feel of this keyboard, and it is suitable
for pilot training as well as general cockpit construction. The keys
are gloss black, raised, and each key has the authentic CDU "click"
when pressed.
The 14
x 8 keyboard matrix is compatible with the EPIC card and Hagstrom keyboard
encoders, and a 5V circuit backlights the entire keypad. Each letter
glows in the dark. A separate switch is included for dimming the keys,
and for operating the EXEC key LED.
 All
connections to the keypad are standard flat ribbon cable connectors.
The ribbon cables can be seen clearly in this photo of the keypad, mounted
in an optional CDU housing (right).
We can
mount a keyboard encoder and pre-program it
with Project Magenta's keyboard commands as well, if you desire.
The Boeing
737-NG CDU keypad comes ready for mounting in your cockpit, with a peel-off
backing to help in placement. You wire it according to your own cockpit
arrangement. We'll provide you with the pinout and spec sheet prior
to delivery.
