Airbus A320 family MCDU keypads
measure 157 x 225 mm, and feature a clear screen area. (Colour video
monitor available separately.)
Great attention
has been paid to the tactile feel of this keyboard, and it is suitable
for pilot training as well as general cockpit construction. The keys
are gloss black, raised, and each key has the authentic MCDU "click"
when pressed.
The 14
x 8 keyboard matrix is compatible with the EPIC card, and a 5V circuit
backlights the entire keypad. Each letter glows in the dark. A separate
switch is included for dimming the keys, and for operating the EXEC
key LED.
 All
connections to the keypad are standard flat ribbon cable connectors.
We can mount a keyboard encoder and pre-program
it with Project Magenta's keyboard commands as well, if you desire.
The Airbus
A320 family MCDU keypad comes ready for mounting in your cockpit, with
a peel-off adhesive backing to help in placement. You wire it according
to your own cockpit arrangement. We'll provide you with the pinout and
spec sheet prior to delivery.
