Right Brain Creative Services for the Best Ideas in the Hemisphere!...this is me in grade 9

Lapels wide enough to land a plane on. Okay but the glasses are right back in style! Isn't purple this year's black?

So Who is this Jan, and what's she doing in cyberspace?

I am an illustrator and a mother and a halfway decent person who loves family and friends. I was born and raised in (St.Vital) Winnipeg, Manitoba, the fifth of six children. Regina, Saskatchewan has been a fine home since 1980. It's a wonderful community to raise our son and our cats.

My original training and career was in museums. Technology snuck into the mix, when I helped design a database for museum collections management. The desire to be self-employed tickled my common sense and in 1993, RIGHT BRAIN Creative Services was launched. I have since enjoyed working for a variety of clients in illustrative, desktop publishing and museum-related activities. Computers have blended into the mix and I find myself producing websites and digital images. I get much satisfaction from producing newsletters for 3 clients.

Besides drawing, I enjoy word puzzles, gardening, listening to CBC radio, Blue Jays ball games, some television. I am a big supporter and collector of folk music with a fondness for Canadian artists.

Among the items on my wish list - to illustrate a children's book. One of my fun gigs is teaching children in drawing and cartooning classes. Enjoy your tour of my samplers and the links to webpages I have designed. And please respect my copyright to all of my original images.
