Some characters don't find themselves on the "dark" side of this game because they are evil, or the enemy. Many of the sleuths nemesis are natural phenomenon.

The great Mutato is one of these characters. The result of genetic manipulation, the hideously deformed Mutato is not an evil monster. Just misunderstood.

I chose him to play the part of the bishop largely because he was one of the more colourful characters from one of the more colourful episodes. (Even though the actual episode was filmed in black and white.) His stance is taken from the last scene as he is rocking to the music of Cher. His arms being extended is an attempt to help the player remember his role. The other bishop also has limbs (Or lack there of) different from the other pieces.
