Interesting collection of annual and perennial seed. A smaller catalogue which I think is trying to list 'exclusive' varieties only. We've ordered a few things from them the last couple of years. Expensive.

Extensive list of perennials and annuals, I counted 68 Campanulas in their catalogue. No photos, it helps to have good reference books to research the plants listed in this catalogue.
In the last couple of years, a couple of things have annoyed me with this company - 1) Very miserly in the amount of seed they give you compared to the Canadian seed companies listed on this page, 2) On a couple of occasions I have started the same plant species from seed from Chiltern and from some of the other seed companies listed here, the Chiltern seed had poorer germination.
Having said all that, they are the only place I have found who offer seed from quite a number of plant species, I do order from them each year.

Wide selection of perennials for northern climates, generous amount of seed. Offer seed for many native plants, including Canadian Prairie wildflowers.
Very extensive list of perennials and ornamental grasses. I counted 80 Primulas in their catalogue. We've had the best germination of perennial seed from this company. Only drawback is they have a 40 Euro minimum order without additional charges (a penalty) being applied.

Decent selection of annual seed, good prices. Their selection of perennial seed didn't interest me much, but what they have is offered at a good price.
Excellent selection of seed for flora of the Great Plains. Generous in the amount of seed per packet. My first order with them was fall of 2000.
Great selection of herb seeds, many of which are useful ornamental plants.

Beautiful catalogue full of great photos. This book helps me get through the snow and cold in January in Saskatchewan. We order much of our annual seed from them. One beef - we haven't had very good germination with their perennial seed.
A couple of things I'd recommend if you're a Canadian ordering
seed from the USA or from Europe:
1) Be familiar with Canada's Prohibited
Noxious Weed Seeds list so that you don't attempt to import
prohibited seeds. I have seen about 1/3 of the seeds in Canada's prohibited
seeds list for sale in American and European seed catalogues.
2) Ordering from Europe is easiest if you pay by credit card.
