Veronica gentianoides

Light green leaves form a small mound. Blooms are attractive, light blue with dark blue veins. Begins flowering in late May for us.

Grows 12" in height, will form a patch 12" wide in a couple of years.

Is a bit fussy in our experience - is not very tolerant of dry conditions - will sulk. We try not to let it dry right out. We grow it in partial shade.

Hardy to zone 2.

Glen's rating:  7.
