Dark veining on leaves is more pronounced from mid-summer onwards.

Low-growing foliage plant for a shady location. Mid-green leaves, maple shaped, are maked with a heavy dark stripe down their centre.

Non-invasive. Flowers are small, white, bell-shaped, appear in June for us.

Listed in the catalogue as hardy to Zone 5, but I'd give it hardy zone 3 or 4.
