Tanacetum haradjanii

Geranium cinereum 'Ballerina' in bloom at 10 o'clock

Greyish-white, deeply incised leaves, and a mat-forming growth habit. Works well in our rock garden to provide a splash of grey colour among the green of our other plants.

The reference books write this plant has sporadic, small yellow flowers in summer, although our plant has yet to flower for us. Ours died of some disease by the look of things. Jelitto writes this about the plant: "Plants should lie directly on stone, otherwise susceptible to Botrytis fungus."

Trying again planted next to stone in our rock garden.

Rated hardy to zone 6.

Height 6", width 12" in a couple of years.

Glen's score: 7.

Synonyms:  Chrysanthemum haradjanii.

Thanks to our friend Grace for giving us this plant.
