Beautiful blooms, foliage is an attractive dark green with wrinkled appearance. Blooms in late June, early July for us.
Grows 18" tall. These plants are bushy, in a few years can grow to 2+ feet wide. We grow them in partial shade.
Hardy to Zone 3.
Although we're growing them in dry spots in our garden, and in partial shade, the October 1997 edition of Fine Gardening magazine says this is a good perennial for sunny, wet spots in your garden. Obviously a tough, adaptable perennial.
