Solidago x hybrida 'Crown of Rays'

A wonderful mid-summer bloomer.  Large flat plumes of bright yellow flowers. On a mature plant, the top of the plant, about 18", is covered in yellow blooms. The middle photo shows the blooms from 1 plant and from part of another one.

I find this plant's foliage is attractive in its own right - upright habit, dark green leaves.

Well-behaved, we find a few new seedlings each spring.

Hardy zone 2.

Grows about 24" tall for us, and spread 18".
