Saxifraga paniculata

Low growing cushions of grey-green leaves. Rather quickly forms a good sized mat.  Flowering stems produce panicles of white flowers. This particular unnamed variety of the species has small red spots, quite attractive. Flowers mid June.

Full sun, sharp drainage are recommended. Rock garden plant. Easy to grow.

Leaves are pale green, and form a low rosette - 2" tall.  Flower panicles to 12". In our experience, takes a couple of years to settle in before blooming.

Synonym:  Saxifraga aizoon.

Hardy to zone 2.

Glen's score:  7.
