Maroon flower spikes on 2 foot stems. Foliage is dark green.  Early summer bloomer.

This plant performed poorly for us in partial shade - was very floppy and unattractive. We moved it to full sun where it grew with a more upright habit.  However, I am not overly impressed with this plant in full sun, either.  This is a sprawling sort of plant that's all foliage and small blooms. Hardy to Zone 2.

Grows to about 30" tall, and 30" wide.
