Pulmonaria saccharata 'Mrs. Moon'

A good looking perennial for the shade garden.  Foliage is what this plant adds to your garden - the dark green leaves spotted with white add interest to a shady spot.

Flowers in late May, blooms start as pink then turn to blue.

We've had problems with powdery mildew with this Pulmonaria, which hits the plants in July.

1999 update: got so fed up with the powdery mildew hitting this variety so hard in summer, that I dug up my P. saccharata 'Mrs. Moon' plants and threw them away. Am now growing P. 'Roy Davidson' in that spot and have had no problems with it.

Hardy zone 2.

Glen's score:  6.
