Dark green foliage with white splotches, excellent foliage plant for the shade garden. Leaves are long and narrower than most other Pulmonaria. Leaves are especially narrow early in the year. Small white flowers in spring are not terribly showy.
No trouble with powdery mildew with this variety (have had that problem with P. saccharata 'Mrs. Moon').
My favourite Pulmonaria.
Clump of foliage grows to about 10" in height, flower spikes in spring to 18" tall; spread of 18".
Cold hardy to zone 3.
Glen's score: 8.
