Dark green, wrinkled foliage and single, white blooms with yellow centres in late May. Attractive when blooming, but overall a quiet sort of plant best suited for a woodland garden.
Grew this particular plant from seed, bloomed in its 3rd year. Have read this plant can be invasive, hasn't proven to be just yet. Produces a single, large, red-coloured fruit late in the growing season.
