Tubular flowers are lavender coloured with white tips. Low-grower, good choice for rock gardens. A nice little plant, I quite like it. Blooms in early summer here in zone 3.

We obtained this plant in the Saskatchewan Perennial Society's fall plant exchange (thank you very much to whoever donated it). I planted it in a garden border that fall, meaning to move it to the rock garden the next spring , but never got around to it. The photos above still show the plant in that perennial border rather than in my rock garden.

Hardy to zone 3.

Height is 4", spread of 10".
