Pinkish red, tubular flowers with attractive white striping on the inside.

We have it growing in our rock garden in a sunny site.

Hardy only to zone 7.  Despite lots of mulching on top of this fellow this fall, it did not make it through our winter. Don't know what I was thinking when I bought it, it's simply too tender for our climate (zone 3).

Supposedly grows to 30" in height, only grew about 15" tall for us.  Spread of 12".
