Lysimachia nummularia 'Aurea'

Useful groundcover for shady sites, we have them growing in deep shade and partial shade. Chartreuse coloured leaves provide good colour in the shade. Golden yellow flowers in mid summer are rather non-descript.

Also a good choice to plant near garden stepping stones as shown above, they're pretty tough plants and can take some abuse.

This plant has been quite well-behaved in our garden.

Height of 2", will spread to form a patch 18" in diameter in a couple of years.

Hardy to Zone 2.

Glen's score:  7.
