Lewisia nevadensis

Lewisia longipetala at 9 o'clock, Lewisia cotyledon at 1 o'clock

Rock garden plant listed as best grown in moist scree. White flowers with some green veining. Leaves are linear, similar to L. pygmaea although that is a smaller plant.

A parade of single flowers on our plants, rarely have seen more than 1 flower in bloom at the same time for some odd reason - photos in the reference books show many blooms per plant.

Have grown from seed, flower in their 2nd year.

Height 5 cm, spread of about 10 cm.

Hardy zone 4.

Glen's score:  7.
