Good looking foliage for a shade garden - the foliage of this Hosta has a glossy sheen to it, and its leaves are longer and thinner than typical varieties. Flower spikes of mauve flowers in mid summer.
In general, we've found Hosta do best in humusy soil,
in shady locations, and not too dry soil.
Hardy zone 3.
Height of foliage about 12 inches, spread of 20 inches.
Glen's score: 7.
