The smallest Hosta we grow, good blue colouring to its leaves. Classified in one catalogue as an 'edger - good for garden and path edges'. Slow growing in my experience. Pale lilac flowers in August.
In general, we've found Hosta do best in humusy soil,
in shady locations, and soil that is not too dry.
Hardy zone 3.
Height of foliage only 4", height of flower spike about 12", spread of 9".
Glen's score: 6.
