Euphorbia polychroma

Well-behaved plant forms a perfect dome of foliage in the garden.  Yellow flowers (bracts actually) appear at the end of each stem in spring. These fade from yellow to green.

Ours have grown to quite a size, 30" tall, and 36" wide.

Tough as nails, easy to grow, drought tolerant.  Nice when blooming in spring, but I find it rather boring the rest of the year, its days are likely numbered in our garden.

Hardy zone 2.

Glen's score:  5.
