A nice plant for the shade garden. Foliage is an attractive blend of green with a pink fringe.
Blooms are sprays of star shaped flowers which resemble a bishop's hat (hence the common name). Flowers late spring in our garden. Grows to 30 cm in height.
Quite a carefree plant, which survives well in dry shade, a difficult spot for most plants. Slowly spreads to form a nice patch, can act as a taller growing groundcover.
Hardy to zone 4.
