Douglassia laevigata ciliolata




Sprays of small reddish-pink flowers in May. Foliage forms a dense mat of glossy leaves. Rock garden plant requiring good drainage.

Not evident from the above rather lousy photos, I think these plants are quite ornamental... hopefully can get better photos next year.

Only marginally hardy for zone 3, we have a couple of these that have made it through 2 winters (barely).

Height of flowering stem to 10 cm, spread 25 cm.

Hardy to zone 5.
