Large globular umbel of small purple-red flowers in early June (here in zone 3). Quite showy. We grow them in full sun in our perennial borders.

Allium bulbs, such as this plant, are usually available for purchase (and planting) in the fall of the year.

Hardy zone 4.

Plants grow about 36" tall, about 12" wide.
