Dense flower umbels about 1" in diameter composed of many, star-shaped flowers. Flower colour is a bright blue, very nice.
We grew the above plants from seed, bloomed the next summer. We have them growing in full sun. The Gardens North seed catalogue advises to grow them in well draining soil that's on the dry side.
As with many Alliums, will spread to form a good-sized patch of plants.
Hardy to zone 3.
Height is 18" to 24".
