Triglochin palustre - photos and description

Saskatchewan's Wildflowers

Slender perennial with very small whitish-pink flowers in early July,  flowers measured to 3 mm tall, and grow on short stems. Leaves grass-like, 1 mm wide or less.

Habitat is bogs and marshes. Fairly common.

We measured plants to 19.5 cm tall.

Photographer's note - this is a very difficult plant to photograph.

Took the above photos in July 18th on wet prairie, edge of marsh, Strawberry Lakes, about 70 km southeast of our home in Regina, SK.
