Brown sticky hairs on upper stem

Slender, erect plant with Iris-like leaves, leaves measured at 13 cm long and 5 mm wide. Upper stem sticky with glandular hairs. Infloresence a dense raceme of white flowers, raceme measured at 2.5 cm long, flowers 9 mm diameter.

Habitat is sphagnum bogs in the boreal forest, common in that habitat.

Height listed in Budd's Flora 10 to 50 cm; above plant was 31 cm tall.

Took the above photos on June 29th in a forest bog, the Nesbit Provincial Forest, about 400 km north of our home in Regina, SK.
