Suaeda calceoliformis - photos and description

Saskatchewan's Wildflowers

Annual plant, which the wildflower guides list as having either a prostrate or erect growth habit (!). Purplish flowers in the axils of the fleshy bracts at end of stems (flowers also listed as often greenish in colour).

Height to 50 cm, spread (in the erect form) 30 cm.
