Leaves grassl-ike and borne on either side of the flowering stem, flat in profile. The plant in above photo had leaves 10.5 cm long and 2 mm wide. Flowers are blue, with 3 petals and 3 sepals, flower in above photo measured 17 mm in diameter.
Quite an adaptable plant - have seen this growing in shady moist conditions on the edge of woods, and in very dry, hot, sunny locations in our Grasslands National Park.
The reference books list height to 30 cm. Plant in above photo
is 16 cm tall.
