Above photo is looking down on the plant

Upright perennial with blue flowers found in loose racemes in the leaf axils, 7 mm in length, appearing in mid July. Found along stream banks, and other wet places in the boreal forest.

Leaves are stalked, ovate with wavy margins, somewhat cordate bases, 5 cm long and 2.5 cm wide.

Not common, listed as an S3 by the Saskatchewan Conservation Data Centre.

Height of plant in top photo was 42 cm.

Took the above photos along a stream in the boreal forest, south of Armit, SK, along the Woody Lake Road, about 400 km NE of our home in Regina, SK
