Sagittaria cuneata - photos and description

Saskatchewan's Wildflowers

Aquatic plant with white, 3-petaled flowers borne on a stalk above the arrow-shaped leaves. Flowers appear in July.

Habitat is muddy shores and shallow waters across the prairies and parklands.

Height to 30 cm, spread 60 cm.

The above photos were taken in a forest marsh Saskatchewan's Greenwater Provincial Park, 300 km north of our home in Regina, SK, in late July.
