




Stoloniferous, low plant. Flowers are bright yellow, with conical centres, flowers measured to 14 mm diameter. Leaves oval to orbicular with cordate bases and wavy margins. Leaf highlighted in photo above was 5 cm long (including petiole) and 1 cm diameter. Flower stem sparsely hairy, petioles hairy, bottom of leaves with short, appressed hairs.
In the patch we photographed, we observed plants growing to a height of 4 cm.
Commonly found in low, wet, saline locations. Usually found in patches of many plants.
Begins flowering end of May.

Man on His Back Conservation Area, about 500 km southwest of our
home in Regina, Saskatchewan.
