




Slender plant with a single, long flowering stem. Flowers are pale lilac with a yellow eye, 5 petals, petals are cleft, grow in a dense umbel, have a slight fragrance. Flowers were measured at 9 mm in diameter. Leaves are all basal in a rosette, spatulate, irregularly toothed with small teeth. Leaf blade measured at 30 mm long and 17 mm wide. Undersides are covered in a yellow-white mealiness. The upper flower stem is mealy, too. Plant glabrous.
Height listed in Budd's Flora from 10 to 30 cm, we've measured plants to 30 cm tall.
Habitat is saline meadows. Budd's Flora lists the plant as found occasionally.
Photographs taken June 14th, June 15th, and June 19th in a wet ditch near Hudson Bay, 400 km north east of Regina, SK, and July 3rd in a wet meadow, Meadow Lake Provincial Forest about 500 km northwest of our home in Regina, SK.
