






Low plant with irregular pink flowers. Flowers with an elongated middle petal with a fringed crest, flowers to 2 cm long. Leaves alternate along the stem, a whorl or cluster near the top of the stem. Leaves are elliptical, alternate. Leaves to 13 mm wide and 2 cm long without petiole. Plants glabrous except for small hairs on the leaf margins and petioles.
We measured plants to a height of 4 cm.
Habitat is sunny, open places in wet forests or bogs.
Not common, listed as an S2S3 by the Saskatchewan Conservation Data Centre.
