Leaves acute to acuminate

Small parastic plant with pink stems. Flowers pinkish-white, several on longs stalks from the central stem. Flowers measured at 2 cm long and 1 cm diameter. Leaves are described as scale-like, with acute to acuminate tips. Plant is glandular pubescent.

Fairly common where Pasture Sage (Artemisia frigida) is found. 

Height listed in Budd's Flora from 3 to 10 cm, plant in above photo was 11.5 cm tall. Plant stem was 4 cm, flower stems to 6.5 cm.

The above photos were taken June 16th, at the Buffalo Grass Eco Reserve, 200 km southeast of our home in Regina, SK.
