


Plant with a a decumbent to erect growth habit. Bright yellow flowers with 4 petals, flowers to 1.5 cm in diameter. Stems pubescent, bottom of leaves pubescent, top of leaves with a few hairs. Leaves linear to linear-oblong 15 mm long, 5 mm wide in plant in above photo.
Habitat is dry hillsides, although we've also found them growing in grassy highway ditches.
Plant height is listed in the guides to 40 cm. Plant in above photo was 13 cm tall.
The above photos were taken on June 20th, on a stony, clay hill top, Buffalo Grass Eco Reserve, 200 km SE of our home in Regina, SK.
