





Upright annual plant, much branched, foliage is greyish pubescent, the plant covered with stiff hairs making it rough to the touch. Sky blue flowers in leafy racemes at end of branches, flowers measured to 4 mm diameter. Leaves alternate, lanceolate, sessile, with tips curling downwards, reducing in size up the stem. Stem leaf measured at 8 cm long and 1.5 cm wide.
Introduced from Europe, found on disturbed soil, waste places. Common.
Height listed in Budd's Flora to 60 cm, we measured plants to 36 cm tall.
