Inforesence a scropoid cyme, after terminal flower is finished, stem grows and another flower opens

An annual plant which is very hairy, giving it an almost whitish appearance. Branching growth habit giving it a tree-like shape. Leaves are linear, alternate, leaf highlighted in above photo was13 mm long and 1 mm wide. Small white flowers appear in scorpoide cymes, flowers measured at 2 mm diameter. Plant bristly to touch, infloresence sticky to touch.

Habitat is sand dunes in western Saskatchewan. Common.

Height listed in Budd's Flora to 50 cm. Plant in above photo was 25 cm tall.

The above photos were taken in July 12th, sand dunes, Douglas Provincial Park, about 250 km west of our home in Regina, SK.
