



Small, evergreen plant with glossy leaves on long stalks, three-parted. Each leaflet divided into three lobes, with toothed margins. Mature leaves measured 3.7 cm wide, 3.5 cm long. Flowers are single to 16 mm across on slender, leafless stems. Flowers consist of five to seven white sepals, petals are club-shaped and orange-yellow, bearing nectar. Flower stems to 11 cm tall. Plant glabrous.
Habitat is moist, mossy woods, boreal forest.
Took the above photos June 4th, moist spruce woods, Porcupine Hills, about 400 km NE of our home in Regina, SK.
