Chenopodium subglabrum - photos and description

Erect annual with a branching growth habit, branches ascending. Infloresence diffuse, glomerules small. Leaves linear, I measued a typical leaf at 2.5 cm long and 2 mm wide.

Height listed in Budd's Flora from 20 to 80 cm; we measured plants to 31 cm tall.

Habitat is sand dunes. Rare, listed as an S2 by the Saskatchewan Conservation Data Centre. Designated as a species of special concern.

Took the photos July 8th, and July 15th, sand dunes, Douglas Provincial Park, 200 km northwest of our home in Regina, SK.
