Upright flower umbels of small, reddish-pink, star shaped flowers in late July. Flowers to 1 cm in diameter, flower umbel to 4 cm in diameter. Plant glabrous. Leaves linear. I've measured plants to a height of 47 cm.
Habitat is listed as wooded areas in our Parklands, but I've also seen them growing on open prairie near Estevan. Fairly common.
