Zaluzianskya capensis

What a name. Evening-blooming, delicate plant with small white flowers.

Grew about 12" high for us, floppy plant which you might want to stake. Flower buds are red-coloured when closed.

Sunny position, but tolerates light shade.

If I shoved my nose right in the flower I could smell a faint scent. Rather disappointing compared to its catalogue writeup:  "...flowers open in the late evening releasing an overwhelming but the loveliest of scents."

Glen's score:  1.
