Salvia coccinea 'Cherry Blossom'

The coral and white blooms of this Salvia are interesting, however we were disappointed with this variety.

The catalogue described it as 'Flowering over a long period', and having a 'dwarf habit' (said 12" to 15" in height). Our experience was the exact opposite. It flowers for a very short period, and is tall - up to 24" in height.

We prefer Salvia coccinea 'Lady in Red' and its striking red blooms over 'Cherry Blossom'.

Glen's score:  2.
