Osteospermum

Beautiful blooms on a bushy plant. This variety is Osteospermum 'Mira' is described as"deep pink flowers with blue centers and yellow accents".

As with Gazanias, the blooms open in sunlight and close at evening or cloudy days. This also means they really should be planted in a sunny site to perform best.

Are drought tolerant once established.

Plants grow about 16" tall, we find they need support to stay upright.

The only problem with them is that seed is hard to come by and is expensive, while plants are very expensive for an annual.

Glen's score:  7.
