Malope trifida 'Vulcan'

Large Malope 'Vulcan' sharing a border with Salvia coccinea 'Lady in Red', and Russian Sage

Malope t. 'Vulcan' has large, attractive flowers. Thompson & Morgan describe them as 'metallic red'. The green eye in the centre of the flower provides an interesting, unusual contrast.

These are bushy, large annuals. Height is about 36", spread of 20". Usually requires staking.

We grow them in sun.

Resembles Lavatera.
