Plants bear many double and semi-double flowers in shades of purple, pink, and white. Blooms resemble small carnations.

Grows to 2 feet in height. Requires staking.

Sunny position, but tolerates light shade.  Quite nice when blooming. The problem I have with all Clarkias is that they don't bloom as long as other annuals... you end up with dead Clarkia plants in your flower border while your other annuals are still blooming.
