Cerinthe major purpuracens

Interesting annual we grow mainly for the colouring of its foliage - an attractive blue-green.

Mid summer, small purple, tubular flowers appear on the end of each stem.  The foliage at the end of each stem is quite colourful, too.

Height 18" to 30" and is a bushy plant spread to 30".

We've grown them in sun and partial shade - requires staking in the partial shade (becomes pretty floppy).

Glen's score:  7.
