Anagallis monellii

We like blue flowers, and we find this plant's intense blue flowers quite attractive. Blooms for a long time.

We grow them in full sun, and have found them to be somewhat tolerant of dry conditions.

We grow these from seed every year in our basement under lights - they're relatively easy. I find they do get stressed if I start them too early and they spend too long indoors. They often are rather sad looking by the time I harden them off outdoors and plant them. Once planted outdoors, however, they perk up and do fine.

Is a low-growing, sprawling sort of plant, about 8" in height.

Glen's score:  9 of 10.
